Deep Space Interlude

What with Woebot's timely interjection about space, music, and their relationship, I thought it might be worthwhile to take a look at some records that cleave to the theme of outer space. The original plan was to put together a quick selection of ten or twenty records, but things quickly got out of hand. The list ballooned well beyond the initial estimate. There really are a seemingly infinite number of records inspired by the cosmos. So, I figured, rather than prune the list down to some tidy, manageable number, why not go all out? A little may go a long way but a lot goes much further, and it would take a lot indeed to even begin to cover the vastness of outer space.

Well, I'm still working on that one, but weeks having gone by, it seemed like as good a time as any to check in. I seem to have caught cold... the various furies grind the immune system down until it's forced to yield (for a spell, anyway). Absorbing time and energy, these furies conjure obstacles and prevent change, fighting the future. A metaphor that points to something greater than itself, perhaps.

It looks like I may need to leave this planet after all...
